It's me. Dan Risen. Your friendly neighborhood copywriter/MBA candidate who's just trying to create good content. 

I come from a family of stubborn but brilliant writers who have always been pushing me to speak my mind.  I grew up in Maryland just outside Washington D.C. and went to Temple University in Philadelphia. After graduating with a degree in advertising and Japanese in 2015, I attended language school in Tokyo in 2016. 

My work as a copywriter has largely been in the Philadelphia and Washington D.C. areas at large agencies such as Digitas Health Lifebrands and within the fast-growing EdTech space at 2u Inc. I've worked on large pharmaceutical accounts like HURMIA, written for legacy brands such as K'NEX and Lincoln Logs, and crafted wide range of webpage and social advertising campaigns for esteemed universities including Syracuse, UNC, Rice, and Harvard.
