MBA | Strategic Marketing, Communications & Business Professional
Throughout my time at 2u Inc. one of the university accounts that I worked on the longest has been American University. Whether it was for their business programs, law programs, or other online offerings, I crafted long-form webpage content as well as social media advertising. Included is a look at their homepage, landing pages, and social media ads that I led and worked on with a senior designer. You can find the website at https://onlinebusiness.american.edu/mba/
While at 2u Inc. I had the privilege of working on the account of one of the nation’s leading business schools, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Working alongside a designer, I helped craft copy for webpages, landing pages, and social media ads to promote the #1-ranked online MBA according to U.S. News & World Report. One of the university accounts I worked on the longest at my time at 2u Inc. was Syracuse University and the more than 15 programs they offered online. I crafted webpages, landing pages, motion ads, and creative campaigns for programs ranging from business and engineering to communications and public administration. While at Digitas Health Lifebrands I worked primarily on the Humira Plaque Psoriasis indication. I helped brainstorm, crafted headlines and taglines, and worked alongside other writers and designers for the ‘Humira & Go’ campaign. This was an invaluable experience for me as I was beginning my copywriting career and gave me real insight into the pharmaceutical advertising industry.
While at D4 Creative in 2014 I worked on a team for Southern Breeze Sweet Tea. This was a large account where the goal of the campaign was to drive sales in the summer months and inform consumers of the growing number of stores that stock Southern Breeze. I was in charge of some web copy like the store locator, banner ads, and sweet tea recipe pages.
While at D4 creative I was apart of a campaign for Lincoln Logs aimed at creating content for their Facebook page to increase likes. Our team decided to create stop motion videos that featured simple and fun jokes. "Logsplitting Humor" became the title of the series and I wrote each episode as well as recorded audio for many of the characters. I mainly worked with our digital designer, Chi Hwan Moon, going shot by shot setting each scene and editing video. At the end of the campaign, their Facebook page went from roughly 7,000 likes to 90,000.
